Located at the northern edge of
Hillsborough opposite the entrance to Silver Beach, John's Unique Resort
comes complete with street parking, bar & restaurant, daily maid/laundry
service, and auto rentals. Just steps away from the front entrance you'll
find the wide, white sand beach of Hillsborough Bay. On your way into town
you will pass a small local fresh fruit/vegetable stand. As you stroll
along the Carenage, a few steps further brings you to the Carriacou Silver
Diving base, Alva's Restaurant, Ade's Dream and the hub of the town.
Here you'll find the telephone
company, the Carriacou Museum, the bakery, banks, fish market, main
market, supermarkets and perhaps fifty small rum shops.
On your arrival at the Resort, you
will enter a large, outdoor courtyard that is already being turned
into a tropical oasis with plants, flowers and shrubs. The
"U-shaped" building also has a covered, outdoor lobby ideal for
